I like that! Great as a short story under pages , a longer version wouldn't have been an improvement. Dec 25, Alina rated it it was amazing. Very nice continuation to the series! I have to confess: Griggs'd pissed me off at first with his constant rebuffs, but when he a little suddenly, but whatever changed his attitude towards Bridger I started liking him as much as the next person. The further relationship development's been quite cute :. Feb 18, Gigi rated it liked it Shelves: mm-cowboys-farmers. Just a silly little cowboy story I read while waiting for a few can't-fucking-wait books to be released.

Nothing too special, but not at all unlikable. A perfect book to pass the time in an enjoyable way without getting in too deep. Jul 17, Robin French rated it really liked it Shelves: favorite-series. There is something about them that makes reading them feel like you're visiting with an old friend.

They're familiar but you can always find something new. Even at less than a hundred pages each, each is a complete story. Each book builds a little more on the previous. I truly hope that there are more someday as Justice River Ranch is a place tha 4 Star Review for Saddle Up and Ride series by Carol Lynne I've had these three books for quite awhile and they're ones I re-read a couple times a year. I truly hope that there are more someday as Justice River Ranch is a place that I truly enjoy visiting.

Book 1 - Reining in the Past.

Best Cowboy MM Romance

A father that he has been told died over twenty years ago. Deacon basically runs the ranch and was Ray's father's best friend. Both struggle to overcome the past to see if they have a future worth fighting for. With the guest part of the ranch now leaning more towards LBGT guests, it was only a matter of time before one of the employees fell for one of the guests. Bridger should have been just a young spoiled brat, but he's so much more. Will Griggs take a chance on love with the younger man, or will he fight for what he wants? Book 3 - Through the Montana Mist Tyson came to the ranch when he and his father were hired to do some work on the newly expanded guest services of Justice River and he never left.

When Caleb, and his partner Jeff, come to the ranch Tyson knows there's something wrong, but can prove it. When Caleb comes to him for help, Tyson steps up. Now the pair have to decide if what they're feeling is truly love or just gratitude for Tyson helping Caleb save himself from an abusive relationship. May 15, Bo rated it it was amazing. A lot of these cowboy romance books have characters who are diametrical opposites in age, size, skills and attitudes. In this one, Ethan Griggs, the somewhat gruff head wrangler of the newly renamed, and redirected, Justice River Ranch, has a burr up his saddle just as soon as the younger, smaller, but somewhat cocky, Bridger Collins shows up to the now openly gay resort.

Bridger is there to test his cowboy skills away from his corporate father and moth Whoa There Wrangler, New Cowboy in Town Bridger is there to test his cowboy skills away from his corporate father and mother, who own a Texas ranch but keep Bridger headed toward a future in business.

After he spots Ethan, he obviously wants to test his bedroom skills as well, but Ethan is not going to allow that to happen--or so he thinks. This is a sweetly moving, strongly emotional and hot sequel to Reigning in the Past, the initial book in the series, and it will leave you with sore butt from not getting up from the read--but a smile on your face nonetheless. Nov 11, Eyre rated it really liked it Shelves: romance , lgbt. Griggs isn't happy with the new guest at the Justice River Ranch.

He thinks that Bridger talks too much and robably doesn't know as much about riding as he says. Griggs is also uneasy because Ray has decided to make the ranch a destination for openly gay clientele, and Griggs is worried that he'll be attracted to someone. He's a lonely cowboy who knows that he needs more than a week-long fling. His worries lead him to make some snap judgments about Bridger, but it doesn't take long for him to le Griggs isn't happy with the new guest at the Justice River Ranch.

His worries lead him to make some snap judgments about Bridger, but it doesn't take long for him to learn that he was mistaken about the sweet, hardworking, younger man. I'm in love with this couple. Griggs is grumpy at first, but then he turns into a sweet, loving man. Bridger is younger and worried about alienating himself from his parents, but he's a sweetheart who does what it takes to hold on to love. This is a very sweet story. One that I'm glad that I've read. In fact, I liked the entire series, even if I did read them out of order --I know, I f'd up, it won't happen again.

Anyway, back to the book.

One of the things that I truly appreciate about Bareback Cowboy, and about Ms. Lynne's other books as well, is that the sex scenes don't dominate the story. They are a part of the story, not just thrown in because of some mathematical equation that says that a sex scene is needed every 14 pages. Office Toy. One Hot Weekend.
